How it works
Four steps, and you only do the first one.
Send us your PID
Share the Property Identification number and any access notes. We check the parcel and airspace.
We fly your land
An Advanced RPAS pilot captures overlapping photos from the air, usually in under three hours on site.
We align the boundary
Your parcel lines, corners, and dimensions are placed on the photo and checked against the registry.
Open it in Google Earth
You get a link and a KMZ file. Fly over your hills, trees, roads, and shoreline from any device.

Who uses Alterra Geomatics
Rural landowners
Understand your acreage, woods, shoreline erosion, and fence lines.
Buyers and realtors
Check where the boundaries really fall before an offer goes in.
Builders and contractors
Plan driveways, easements, clearing, outbuildings, and setbacks.
Farms and agriculture
Track field edges, drainage, hedgerows, and crop perimeters.
Why it matters
Paper deeds describe bearings and chains, and online maps only guess where fences sit. When you are buying, selling, excavating, or settling a fence line, guessing leads to disputes and delays. A current photo with your lot drawn on it shows site features, tree clearance, and structure placement before you break ground.
